The collectible Telegram username market showed a noticeable shift in its internal structure during the September 26–October 2, 2026 period.

Most of the increase in trading activity came from the mass-market price segment, while the broader premium range weakened. At the same time, several of the largest sales were substantially stronger than a week earlier, making the distribution of capital across the market more pronounced.

As a result, the week combined high activity at the lower end of the market with a greater concentration of value in a relatively small number of expensive digital names.

Key market indicators

  • number of transactions: 12,216
  • total trading volume: ≈ 948,960 GRAM
  • estimated average transaction price: 77.68 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • GRAM price at the end of the period: ≈ $1.50
  • estimated trading volume in USD: ≈ $1.43 million

The gap between the average and median price remains very large.

A median of 10 GRAM reflects the price of a typical mass-market transaction, while the average continues to be lifted substantially by a relatively small number of expensive digital names.

This gap narrowed during the week: expensive transactions remained present, but transaction growth was much stronger at the lower end of the market.

Comparison with the previous week

Compared with the September 19–25 period:

  • the number of sales increased by approximately 20.1%
  • trading volume decreased by approximately 10.7%
  • the average transaction value decreased by approximately 25.7%
  • USD trading volume decreased by approximately 8%
  • the combined value of the five largest sales increased by approximately 44.3%
  • the GRAM price at the end of the period increased by approximately 2.9%

A week earlier, the market recorded 10,169 sales with a total volume of about 1,062,913 GRAM. This time, the number of transactions increased by 2,047, while total trading volume was approximately 114,000 GRAM lower.

The most noticeable changes occurred at the two ends of the price structure.

The number of sales up to 10 GRAM increased substantially, while the 1,000–10,000 GRAM range lost part of its trading volume.

At the same time, transactions above 10,000 GRAM became less frequent — four compared with seven a week earlier — but their combined value increased.

In other words, stronger trading activity did not translate into a proportional increase in capital moving through the market.

Market structure by username length

4 characters

the main center of capital, despite the decline

  • sales: 82
  • volume: about 488,362 GRAM
  • median price: ≈ 5,605 GRAM
  • share by number of transactions: 0.7%
  • share by volume: 51.5%

The 4-character segment weakened noticeably compared with the previous period.

The number of sales decreased by approximately 15%, while monetary volume fell by about 23%.

Even so, the category retained its exceptional position: just 82 transactions generated more than half of the entire week’s trading volume.

A median price above 5,600 GRAM also shows that the premium is not limited to a few exceptional names, but applies to the category more broadly.

5 characters

strong growth in activity and monetary volume

  • sales: 2,592
  • volume: about 148,433 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by number of transactions: 21.2%
  • share by volume: 15.6%

The 5-character segment strengthened on both major measures.

The number of transactions increased by approximately 19%, while trading volume rose by almost 27%.

The median remained at 10 GRAM, however, which means that most 5-character combinations still belong to the mass market.

6 characters

more sales, significantly lower volume

  • sales: 2,083
  • volume: about 65,147 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by volume: 6.9%

The number of 6-character sales increased by approximately 33%.

At the same time, total volume in the category fell by more than 32%.

This means that the additional trading activity was concentrated mainly in relatively inexpensive names.

At six characters, length alone already creates little consistent premium: higher valuations increasingly depend on the quality of the specific word or name.

7 characters

sharp growth driven by a few large names

  • sales: 1,559
  • volume: about 119,311 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by volume: 12.6%

The 7-character category recorded the strongest increase in monetary volume among the main length groups — approximately 134%.

However, a large part of that result came from just two transactions.

@netflix sold for 47,350 GRAM, while @russian sold for 34,400 GRAM.

Together, they generated 81,750 GRAM — more than two-thirds of the category’s total volume.

Without these two sales, the 7-character segment would have finished below the previous week’s result.

8 characters

higher activity, lower volume

  • sales: 1,329
  • volume: about 43,753 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by volume: 4.6%

The number of transactions increased by approximately 14%, while monetary volume decreased by about 15%.

The category became more active, but the average quality and price level of the names sold was lower.

At this length, value depends almost entirely on the qualities of the individual username rather than on the number of characters.

9 characters

more transactions, less capital

  • sales: 1,156
  • volume: about 24,472 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by volume: 2.6%

The number of transactions increased by approximately 14%, while total volume fell by more than one-third.

In other words, higher sales activity in this category was not accompanied by stronger monetary activity.

10 characters

a noticeable decline in monetary volume

  • sales: 840
  • volume: about 18,110 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by volume: 1.9%

The number of sales increased by approximately 11%, but total volume fell by almost 39%.

This was one of the sharpest declines among the main length categories.

For 10-character usernames, the weekly result depends heavily on whether individual high-quality names appear on the market, and there were fewer such sales this time.

11 characters and longer

high transaction flow with limited monetary weight

  • sales: 2,575
  • volume: about 41,373 GRAM
  • median price: 10 GRAM
  • share by number of transactions: 21.1%
  • share by volume: 4.4%

Longer usernames accounted for more than one-fifth of all transactions.

The number of sales increased by approximately 21%, while monetary volume declined slightly.

The category remains an important part of mass-market trading, but high value is concentrated in a relatively small number of meaningful names.

Brief Conclusion on Username Length

Four-character usernames retained their dominant position by monetary volume despite a noticeable decline from the previous week.

The strongest increase in volume came from the 7-character segment, although most of that result was driven by a few large transactions.

The 5-character category, by contrast, grew more evenly and became the second-largest segment of the market by trading volume.

From six characters onward, a broader principle becomes increasingly visible: length itself explains less of the value, while the quality of the individual digital name becomes more important.

Largest deals of the week

  • combined TOP-5 volume: 145,750 GRAM
  • TOP-5 share of total trading volume: 15.4%
  • username length range within the TOP-5: 4 to 7 characters
  • breakdown by length: two 4-character, one 5-character, and two 7-character usernames

The combined value of the five largest sales increased by approximately 44% — from 100,987 to 145,750 GRAM.

Their share of total weekly trading volume also increased from 9.5% to 15.4%.

One notable feature of the current TOP-5 is that the first two positions were both taken by 7-character names. This differs sharply from the previous week, when the upper end of the ranking was dominated almost entirely by 4-character assets.

Top 5 largest deals

  1. @netflix — 47,350 GRAM (≈ $71,100)

Netflix is a seven-character name matching one of the world’s best-known streaming brands. In this case, value comes not from length but from the immediate recognizability of the name itself: it requires no explanation or interpretation. That makes the transaction stand out sharply from ordinary 7-character usernames.

  1. @russian — 34,400 GRAM (≈ $51,700)

Russian is an English word that can refer to a person from Russia, something related to Russia, or the Russian language, depending on context. It is a highly recognizable thematic name with obvious potential for media, language projects, communities, or content related to Russia and the Russian-speaking world.

  1. @first — 34,000 GRAM (≈ $51,100)

First is a common English word associated with being number one, coming before others, or holding priority. It is short, easy to remember, and carries strong associations with leadership and top position, making it considerably more useful for a brand, product, service, or media project than a random 5-character combination.

  1. @read — 20,000 GRAM (≈ $30,000)

Read is one of the most basic and widely used English verbs. The username combines two strong characteristics: minimum 4-character length and a genuine dictionary word. It has natural associations with books, text, media, education, publishing, and information services.

  1. @peer — 10,000 GRAM (≈ $15,000)

Peer can mean an equal, a person of the same standing, or someone from the same age or social group. In technology, the word is also widely recognized through peer-to-peer (P2P) systems, where participants interact as equal network nodes. For a 4-character username, this creates an attractive combination of short length, dictionary meaning, and a clear technological association.

Market distribution by price segment

Up to and including 10 GRAM

  • 10,041 sales
  • 82.2% of all transactions
  • volume: about 86,391 GRAM
  • 9.1% of trading volume

This was the fastest-growing segment of the week by number of transactions.

The number of sales increased by approximately 27%, while monetary volume rose by about 32%.

More than eight out of every ten sales now take place within this range.

Despite that scale, the segment still contributes a relatively small share of the market’s total monetary value.

Over 10 and up to 100 GRAM

  • 1,370 sales
  • 11.2% of transactions
  • volume: about 38,518 GRAM
  • 4.1% of trading volume

This range changed very little.

The number of sales increased slightly, while monetary volume declined marginally.

Unlike the cheapest category, there was no significant expansion here.

Over 100 and up to 1,000 GRAM

  • 690 sales
  • 5.6% of transactions
  • volume: about 139,618 GRAM
  • 14.7% of trading volume

The number of transactions decreased by approximately 12%, while monetary volume fell by about 9%.

Even so, the segment retains a meaningful role and remains the transition zone between mass-market and premium sales.

Over 1,000 and up to 10,000 GRAM

  • 111 sales
  • 0.91% of transactions
  • volume: about 548,683 GRAM
  • 57.8% of trading volume

This range remains the main center of monetary activity in the market.

The number of transactions decreased by approximately 18%, while trading volume fell by almost 20%.

Even so, less than one percent of all transactions still generated well over half of total weekly trading volume.

This is where most expensive 4-character usernames and other premium digital names are concentrated.

Over 10,000 GRAM

  • 4 sales
  • 0.03% of transactions
  • volume: 135,750 GRAM
  • 14.3% of trading volume

The number of exceptionally large transactions declined from seven to four.

Their combined value, however, increased by approximately 11%.

The average size of one such transaction almost doubled — from about 17,400 to 33,900 GRAM.

Brief Conclusion on Price Structure

The 1,000–10,000 GRAM range remains the main center of monetary activity.

Together with transactions above 10,000 GRAM, these sales accounted for less than 1% of all transactions but generated approximately 72.1% of weekly trading volume.

At the same time, the lower end of the market expanded significantly by transaction count.

The result is a more polarized price structure: trading activity is concentrated in inexpensive assets, while capital is concentrated in a relatively small number of expensive usernames.

Weekly summary

The September 26–October 2 period was a week of expansion in transaction count, but not in monetary volume.

Most of the additional activity came from mass-market sales, while the key 1,000–10,000 GRAM premium range weakened.

At the same time, several particularly strong names lifted the very top of the market and increased the concentration of capital among the largest transactions.

The structural premium attached to 4-character usernames remained intact, but the results of @netflix, @russian, and @first once again showed that at the upper end of the market, the quality of an individual digital name can matter more than length alone.

The market therefore ended the week with higher trading activity, a lower average transaction value, and a noticeably sharper contrast between the mass-market and premium segments.
